GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE HUB

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, nomads, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. 

Any new features or tools which are added to the current solutions shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

I. MEMBERSHIP AND SERVICES

The Hub offers fully equipped coworking space with the aim to create and maintain a comfortable and friendly work environment where members have their own space to work while everyone knows each other and is a part of a community of people sharing common ideas and lifestyles.

Membership/Plans and Daily Pass

You may use The Hub coworking space, facilities and services by either becoming a member, purchasing a monthly plan (for types of membership, plans, membership packages and prices visit https://thehub.mk/solutions), or get a daily pass. Just follow the link and the instructions provided on our web and get your profile, password and access to your plan or ask our reception staff for assistance.
All registrations, membership and passes are subject to availability. Use of workspace/facilities under flexible use packages (during a certain number of days/hours per month or other period of time) may not be carried forward if not used during their term of validity. Your monthly plan shall be automatically renewed for the initial package/term of membership/plan unless terminated by you at our registration platform.

Access to workplace and facilities

You may access and use a The Hub workspace by obtaining a membership/plan or a day-pass. Upon performing your purchase for a solution at https://thehub.mk/solutions/ you will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed, depending on your membership/pass type. After obtaining registration, you may book a desk, phone booth, meeting room and facilities, subject to availability, through your profile on our registration platform app Optix.
The Hub is accessible during business days’ working hours (8am-5pm). The Hub reserves the right to limit access outside business days’ working hours. 

II. WORKSPACE RULES

We realize that working in a common space calls for organization and rules so that everyone feels comfortable and enjoys some privacy and quiet at their workplace. Therefore, we would like our members to be aware of the terms of use of The Hub workspace and facilities while believing that best rules shall be the ones not written but implicitly agreed upon and respected by the members of the The Hub community.

Non-disturbance

We expect our members and their guests to use the workspace of The Hub without creating excessive noise or otherwise disturbing other members and/or visitors. Phone calls and meetings should be carried out in the designated areas. Short and discreet phone calls and private discussions are allowed in the common areas unless other members object or complain.

Tidy and clean workspace and meeting areas

Members are expected to leave their desks and other working spaces clean and tidy upon leaving the The Hub coworking place. Meeting room, phone booths and other workspace used by a member should be left free of any personal belongings and cutlery.

Personal items and own equipment

Members may use their equipment and put their personal belongings on and closely around their desks. However, members are not allowed to use and/or display personal items which are offensive to other members and visitors, which are illegal or which create excessive noise, smell or otherwise disturb other users of the working space. Members and guests are not allowed to put any blinders, stickers, curtains or other material on the walls, windows or furniture and equipment of the working spaces and service areas.

Pet friendly

We are pet friendly so you may bring your pet with you and keep it in your working area insofar as it does not disturb other members or guests. Please let us know, however, if you or any of your visitors have any health or other reasons to avoid the presence of pets. The Hub reserves the right to ask a pet to be removed if it disturbs co-workers, if the presence of pets during certain meetings and events in the Hub premises is not appropriate, or if we receive complaints from The Hub coworking space users.

Use of communal kitchens and facilities

Members have free access to a fully equipped kitchen, coffee/tea and filtered water facilities. Any food or beverages stored in refrigerators should be removed by Friday of each week otherwise they will be disposed of by the cleaning staff.

Promotional Materials, Signage and Labels

Displaying, affixing, distributing or otherwise making evident to other users promotional and advertising materials and signs, labels, signage and other similar items is subject to advance written approval of The Hub management.

Non-smoking

Smoking in The Hub coworking space is not allowed. You may smoke only in the designated open-air smoking sites outside the building.

III. MEMBERSHIP, PLANS AND DAILY PASSES

Dedicated Desk

  • Service Provision: Access to your own “Dedicated Desk” at The Hub, Partizanski Odredi 17, Skopje. This includes use of common spaces such as the kitchen, toilet, and general area. Your desk will be clearly marked as yours within our shared workspace.
  • Service Duration: The service is available for set start and end dates, with the option to extend by mutual consent. If you don’t use the service, it’s still considered as rendered.
  • Payment Details: We require the monthly fee, including VAT, to be paid in advance. If payment is not made, this will lead to service termination and you must vacate the premises.
  • Cancellation: If your contract is longer than a month, we need a 30-day written notice for cancellation.
  • User Liability: You’re responsible for looking after your belongings and any damage you might cause. Please note, The Hub isn’t responsible for any theft or loss.
  • Capacity Limitation: This service is strictly for individual use. If you exceed this limit, it could result in the termination of your agreement.

Event Space

  • Service Description: When you book the “Event Space” at The Hub, Partizanski Odredi 17, Skopje, you get access to the specified event room along with common facilities like kitchen and toilet. 
  • Booking Duration and Timing: Your booking has specific start and end times, which you must adhere to as agreed upon in advance.
  • Payment and Cancellation: Payment for the event space must be made in advance as specified in the invoice provided. If you need to cancel, please give us at least a 7-day notice before the event date.
  • User Obligations and Liability: You are responsible for the safety of your personal belongings and for any damages that occur during the event. The Hub takes care of utilities but isn’t liable for losses within the premises.
  • Capacity Limitation: The Event Space can accommodate up to 40 people. Exceeding this number may lead to immediate agreement termination.
  • Space Condition: Please report any defects in the space when you take over. After your event, the space should be returned in the condition it was provided.

Hot Desk

  • Service Provision: Access to a “Hot Desk” at The Hub, Partizanski Odredi 17, Skopje. This includes access to shared amenities like the kitchen and toilet.
  • Access and Reservation: The Hot Desk is available during working hours, from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, excluding holidays. Reservations must be made through our designated electronic application, Optix.
  • Contract Duration and Payment: This service is offered on a minimum one-month basis. Payment, including VAT, is required in advance each month.
  • Cancellation: For contracts extending beyond one month, a 30-day written notice is required for cancellation.
  • User Liability: You are responsible for your belongings and any damages incurred. The Hub is not liable for any theft or loss.
  • Capacity Limitation: The Hot Desk service is designed for individual use. Overstepping this limit could result in the termination of your service agreement.

Private Office

  • Service Provision: Access to your private office space at The Hub, Partizanski Odredi 17, Skopje. Along with your exclusive office, you have access to shared areas like the kitchen, toilet, and other common spaces. Your office is fully equipped with the necessary inventory for your work.
  • Service Duration: The private office is available from predetermined start and end dates, with the possibility of extending the duration by mutual agreement. Please be aware that non-use of the office is still considered as service rendered.
  • Payment Details: We require the payment of your office’s monthly fee, VAT included, in advance. Failure to make timely payments will necessitate the termination of your service and require you to vacate the office.
  • Cancellation Policy: Should you wish to cancel and your contract is longer than a month, we require a written notice at least 30 days in advance.
  • User Liability: We hope you enjoy your private office space, but please remember that you are responsible for your personal items and any damage that occurs during your use. The Hub is not liable for any theft or loss.
  • Capacity Limitation: The private office is designed for use by a single individual. If the occupancy exceeds this limit, we may have to terminate your agreement.

Community membership

  • Service Provision: Access to a “Hot Desk” (x5 days in one month) at The Hub, Partizanski Odredi 17, Skopje. This includes access to shared amenities like the kitchen and toilet.
  • Access and Reservation: The Hot Desk is available during working hours, from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, excluding holidays. Reservations must be made through our designated electronic application, Optix.
  • Contract Duration and Payment: This service is offered on a minimum one-month basis. Payment, including VAT, is required in advance each month.
  • Cancellation: For contracts extending beyond one month, a 30-day written notice is required for cancellation.

  • Capacity Limitation: The Community Membership service is designed for individual use. Overstepping this limit could result in the termination of your service agreement.
 

Daily Pass

  • Service Provision: Access to your own “Hot Desk” at The Hub, Partizanski Odredi 17, Skopje. This includes use of common spaces such as the kitchen, toilet, and general area. Your desk will be clearly marked as yours within our shared workspace.
  • Service Duration: The service is available for one day.
  • User Liability: You’re responsible for looking after your belongings and any damage you might cause. Please note, The Hub isn’t responsible for any theft or loss.
  • Capacity Limitation: This service is strictly for individual use. If you exceed this limit, it could result in the termination of your agreement.

IV. LEGAL PROVISIONS

Limitation of Liability

The Hub is committed to providing a secure and professional working environment. However, please note that we are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought into our premises. We encourage all users to take reasonable precautions with their personal items while using our facilities. This limitation of liability applies to all users and visitors to The Hub, ensuring that personal responsibility is maintained for the safety and security of personal belongings.

Termination

The Hub reserves its right to suspend or terminate any of the services hereunder at any time. The Hub may terminate any membership, registration or subscription for use of any of the services provided hereunder with immediate effect in case of breach of this GT.

Indemnification

The Hub shall be indemnified and hold harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages costs, fines and penalties based upon or arising from illegal, negligent actions, errors and omissions or willful misconduct or fraud of any of its members, visitors, guests or other third parties resulting from a participation, provision or use of any of the services provided by The Hub.

Governing law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of N.Macedonia.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
